United States of America is Double 'S' main export market. We also have exported to overseas, starting with Japan in the 80's. Later with Germany, China, Taiwan, United Kingdom and France as the most recent export market.

Double 'S' can provide panelized or precut material packages, complete with prefinished cedar siding, stucco, or vinyl. Our lock up packages are complete on the outside and ready for finishing on the inside. We can also provide interior packages tailored to your specification.

Double 'S' has shipped several homes to such States as California, Colorado, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington.

JAPAN

Japan as mentioned was the very first overseas market. Double 'S' Cedar Homes has exported over fifty houses to such Prefectures as Tochigi, Aichi, Mie, Hiroshima, Fukuoka and Toyama. Most of these homes were Cedar Homes in resort areas.

In the summer of 1996, Double 'S' exported a house using a combination of 2x4 and Japanese traditional Post and Beam construction technologies to Fukuoka. For this house, Double 'S' panelized the exterior walls, precutted all the floor joists and utilized the truss system for the roof.

GERMANY

Double 'S' has exported several residential houses and one 2,000 square metre, Elderly Care Facility.

In Germany, it is very economical for Double 'S' to provide all the construction labour. Building time is usually from six weeks for a single family house to six months for an Elderly Care Facility
